The Capacity Building Program, Earth Action at NASA

CASE hosted the annual team retreat for The Capacity Building Program, part of Earth Action at NASA, at The Collider in Asheville, NC. This was a hybrid retreat with virtual participants and notetakers as well as around 30 attendees from Huntsville, AL, DC and Maryland. CASE was able to accommodate all of their needs including the perfect venue space, extra microphones, excellent sound quality and interaction capabilities between the in-person and virtual attendees. Attendees enjoyed the venue, making special note of the beautiful view of West Downtown Asheville from the floor to ceiling windows of The Collider’s Lounge and were further able to enjoy Asheville’s great local scene with recommendations from the CASE/Collider team.

NASA’s Capacity Building Program helps strengthen the understanding of Earth observations within individuals and institutions through workforce development from training programs to collaborative projects.
