Climate Prediction Applications Science Workshop (CPASW)

CASE planned, helped facilitate, and provided logistical support for the 2023 CPASW held at The Collider in Asheville, NC.

CPASW drew an audience of over 130 climate and weather scientists, social scientists, biologists and ecologists, policy and decision makers from NOAA’s NWS Climate Services Branch and NCEI, the North Carolina Institute for Climate Studies (NCICS), and other agencies, cooperative institutes, academia, and selected non-profits to discuss data, policy, and initiatives to share developments in research and application of weather and climate and ecosystem information for societal decision-making, including impacts to high risk and underserved communities across the US.

CASE contributed to the agenda, facilitated communications with speakers and presenters, event registration, materials, off-site excursions, audio-visual support, catering, and other pre-, during-, and post-event activities.
